Wendy Tjalma
Wendy Tjalma (1973, Amsterdam)
Wendy Tjalma is working as an artist and lives and works in Haarlem. Despite her love and talent for drawing and painting, she first worked in various sales, marketing and communication functions for 13 years. During this period she has, besides her work, always dealt with painting.
Over the past five years she has exhibited regularly at various galleries. The character of her painting hobby took a flight in 2005 when she participated in an art contest organized by newspaper De Telegraaf. In 2008 she wanted to bring her work to a higher level and she started at the Art Academy Haarlem. In 2009 she stopped working; painting now is an integral part of her life.
